Writing 100 Articles in 100 Days: An Entrepreneurs Content Marketing Challenge – Day 1

Content Marketing Challenge - SistaSense Blog Articles for Entreprenuers

It’s official. Today marks the first day of my personal content marketing challenge to write 100 articles in 100 days. Wow! That’s a lot of writing right? First, let me say, that I welcome you to browse this new series of articles for entrepreneurs, and let me know what you think so far or if you have any topic requests. Why the heck would anyone want to do this? Well interestingly enough, this is actually a very common exercise for people who commit themselves to develop better habits and intentionally accomplishing specific goals during a specific period of time. As both an entrepreneur and content coach, I actually had a few goals in mind when I decided to take on this elephantastic task.

My 100 Articles in 100 Days: Content Creation Goals

Over the last two decades, I periodically like to challenge myself, as a way to get back on track and get fired up about successfully achieving specific goals. Everybody can set goals, but very few people really know how to stick it out until they accomplish them. And unfortunately too many give up too fast. Determined to work on my goals from start to finish, over the years a few of my previous successful personal content challenges included:

Self-Publishing SistaSense Magazine
Creating 90 Youtube Videos in Under 3 Days
Hosting a Live Stream Every Day for One Year
Leading a Weekly Jumpstart Your Business Mastermind
Create A Netflix-Style Digital Library for Entrepreneurs
And the List Goes On

When you are driven and committed to entrepreneurship, it’s important to not only set, but see your goals become reality. This is no easy task, I know because it’s so easy to get overwhelmed or distracted, so setting personal challenges is a great way to deal with distractions by laser-focusing on a shortlist of specific goals you commit to working on overtime.

The Power of 100

There is power in the number 100. As a matter of fact, 100 Days of Doing, being intentional, focused, and in complete alignment with your assignment can put you 5 years ahead in life. When it comes to their goals, too many people find themselves moving at a snail’s pace because they never give themself enough time to invest in their vision. However hard this challenge may be, the ultimate goal is to create a space for me to do something that I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. I have to admit that due to limited time and a very busy schedule, I tend to create a lot more audio and video content, but in the interest of gaining new reach through new content, I wanted to commit myself to getting back to the basics of writing quality articles for new followers and my existing audience.

Side note: Selecting a specific goal that you can work on over 100 Days is one of the five strategies I share inside the 100 Method, a technique that I’ve used over the years to successfully set and accomplish my goals. You can find a full breakdown of this method inside the guide ‘This is Still You Year’ for entrepreneurs who need to get clear and get back on track.

Leading By Example

As a content coach, many of my clients often seek support around putting themselves out there and getting started online. As a social introvert that likes typing over talking and isn’t a big fan of getting on camera, many of my clients have similar personalities and are looking for marketing strategies they can use to start and grow from zero while being their authentic selves. I’m doing this series to motivate, inspire, and offer direction to entrepreneurs like that. People who don’t really want to learn the latest TikTok dance or invest in expensive ad campaigns. I’m doing this personal challenge to inspire people who want to learn the fundamentals of online marketing and how they can use content marketing to grow their business, build brand visibility, and attract qualified leads and potential customers.

And The List Goes On

I have more goals and dreams and visions about what I want this experience to be, but we’ll see how it all pans out. I will periodically share updates and progress reports with you and if there are specific articles you would like to see from me, feel free to share your topic suggestions.
