Working With New Affiliate Program... what do you think?

If you are a regular reader of SistaSense.com then you know that I dabble in Affiliate Marketing, but I mainly use Google Adsense as a means to generate extra income on my websites. I came across this new to me Affiliate Marketing Network: Logical Media, which I signed up to last week. I actually found one of their links via a mommy blog I like to read. When I checked them out I noticed they partnered with a few companies that have products I wouldn’t mind promoting on my social networks, so I figured why not give them a try. You know I talk about affiliate marketing all the time, and I even have my own affiliate program, so if you are looking for a legit side hustle online, this would be it. The key to making it work for you is having an audience. People have to follow you and trust your recommendations if you expect them to click on or signup to any affiliate products you choose to sell. My advice to you, if you are new to affiliate marketing or trying to figure out why its NOT working for you I would suggest focusing less on the links and more on your content. Its all about giving online viewers valuable information and within that info recommending relevant affiliate products.

Banners work well if you’ve got a high traffic site, but I’ve found the most effective affiliate campaigns are embedding your links into your text (ie, blog posts, articles, forum discussions (NOT pitches), etc.). I’m off to go setup my new affiliate links! Later.
