Many bloggers successfully generate revenue from their sites by strategically including affiliate links to products and services within their niche. Selling other people’s stuff is particularly usefully if you are just getting started online or don’t have the time/ means to create products of your own.

When it comes to affiliate marketing you should focus on the following types of products:

1. Products that are relevant to your nice / target audience
2. Products that you have tried

Where do you find affiliate programs?

1.  You can start with popular sites like linkshare.com, commission junction (cj.com) and Amazon Associates
2. Also go to the websites of your favorite products, scroll to the bottom of the page and see if they have an “Affiliate Program” link

Note that things have changed online so whenever you are including affiliate links or sponsored content it’s important for you to include a disclaimer in your post letting people know.
