Don’t Push, Pull
Constant Self Promotion online is the worst marketing strategy. When you constantly send out buy now emails online you will get branded a SPAMMER and push people away. You want to pull people to you. The art of client attraction is adding value to people’s lives. You can do this by fixing a problem that people are having, sharing information, offering affordable services, and producing excellent quality products and services.

Don’t Say Please, Just Please
Beggers are ignored. Experts Are Respected. Business is not about begging, it’s about business. When you say ‘please’ or ask people to ‘support’ or ‘help you’, you are selling yourself as desperate and your business as low quality. Sell yourself and your business as high quality. You have to please people; give them quality content, answer questions with good, thoughtful answers, and work on meeting specific needs that are in demand. Don’t let your need for money be transparent. When you learn how to successfully please potential customers, you put them in the position of needing you.

Don’t Tell, Ask
Don’t jump into forums and online conversations simply to talk about who you are and what you do. Find your target audience and ask them who they are and what they want? Asking questions allows you to get into the conversation and provide quality answers. People don’t want to know about what you’re selling, they want to know about products and services that can improve their lives. Build conversations by entering them on an inquisitive note. Don’t make the conversations all about you or your business. Focus on the needs of your potential customers.
