While most entrepreneurs and small business owners know they need to have a blog and use it as an online marketing tool, the why and the how of this equation still remains a mystery. My goal is to help you better understand why blogs are vital marketing tools and how they can help you attract both customers and media attention.

- How to generate sales via your blog
Before we get to the video, let me share a few things you need to know about blogging in general vs blogging for business. While bloggers in general are focused on sharing information with the goal of becoming a recognized ‘thought leader’ business blogs share information with the intent of attracting attention and generating sales.
As a business blogger you are NOT required to pump out 15 posts ‘per day’ let alone per week. If you can blog often great, but just know that if you can only consistently post a few times per month that is fine too. I always tell people:
“I am not really a blogger. I am an entrepreneur who just happens to like blogging to attract business.”
As a business owner, your primary task is to take care of your business, so you never want to feel like blogging is a time-consuming activity that takes you away from other things you need to do. Know that you can keep it simple and if your nervous, trust me, it get’s easier with practice! Now let’s get into the video below…
