There are a million and one reasons why we start our businesses, but at the end of the day doesn’t it all just boil down to us ALL wanting to live a better life … our best life? When I decided to create the SistaSense Magazine, I wanted to share my journey from Side Hustle Sista to Home based business owner with other women who had startup stories like my own. I started out on a shoe string budget with a $5 dream. My life is best defined by what I like to call my 5ive to Fabulous Transformation, which is featured in the May 2011 issue of SistaSense Magazine.
How do you live a fabulous life? Do you have to be born into it? Is it enough to dream about it? How long do you have to work for it?
I spent the last decade of my life searching for a fabulous life. While for some that means fame and fortune, for me it meant getting paid to do what I love and spend time with the people I loved. Like a woman on a serious mission, year after year I went through this process of creating and waiting. I turned any and sometimes every idea into a possible profit stream. I never really knew what would work. All I knew was that I had to keep going and keep doing; patiently waiting to get “somewhere” until one day I realized that I had “finally” arrived.
