How to Take Your Offline Business Online
This concept is not really a startup one, but an idea that some use as a way to either downsize the brick-and-mortar business expenses or tap into an online market for increased visibility.
If you are interesting in taking your offline business, onlne and you are creating a website for your brick-and-mortar business, here are a few tips:
1. Remember to work with what you already have. Invite your existing clients and business associates to visit your website and join your newsletter. Read my email marketing tips.
2. Your should have an online newsletter and you should work on building your list of business contacts, existing customers, and potential customers.
3. Remember to add your website to your print material: receipts, flyers, stationary, etc.

Tip: Don’t think you can just do everything online. If you are having success selling locally, expand on that! Go to local vendors, boutiques and bookstores in your area and pitch your product.
